Below is the last email I received from PublishAmerica. It is dated April 5.

The book has recently been assigned to an editor. The editor will do an initial proofing and e-mail you a copy of those proofs for review. You will have two weeks to go over your proofs and make any grammatical or typographical changes. Your editor will then make those changes and finalize the manuscript. You will have another review period of 48 hours to ensure that your requested changes were made. Once you return this second proof, the manuscript will be final, and the book will enter the cover design department.

A cover designer will create and format the cover image of your book. Then, you will have a 48 hour review period to request any changes. Once your cover is finalized, your book is sent to our printers, and the author copies are ordered. Approximately 6-8 weeks later, the book will be released to the industry, which means that it will be available through Ingram, Amazon.com, and Barnes & Noble.com. Also, it will be available through all bookstores nationwide.
